About

This blog began in February 2012 as part of the research I had undertaken for what became Grass, Soil, Hope: a Journey Through Carbon Country (Chelsea Green 2014). Today, it is a forum for my exploration of the Age of Consequences, my name for this crazy, challenging, hopeful era in which we live. It’s my goal to explore as many different aspects of this period as possible!

  1. Hi Courtney –

Great blog! I just discovered it when someone forwarded me your Carbon Map. I’m a longtime climate activist and am currently doing my best to bring holistic management of grasslands to the climate movement. How about writing about it?

    Cheers!

Hi. I am wondering about the images you have on your blog. Are they on Creative Commons license? I’d like to use https://carbonpilgrim.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/on-the-trail-of-primitive-life_cambrian_explosion.jpg for a presentation I am doing and will give due credit to you, but wanted to know if the license was CC. Thanks.
